Think of color, shape, texture, and line as you explore an array of guided exercises.
Our object is not to "make" anything. We won't be focusing on non representational or representational works. Instead, you will create richly layered and vibrant surfaces, with techniques and ideas that can be applied to a variety of mediums and approaches.
You will leave the session inspired, engaged, and eager to paint!
There's no wrong way to approach this workshop or how to absorb this material. Think of using a variety of substrates: good paper, found paper, book pages, junk paper, canvas, board, panel, old art, art journaled or collaged pages.
Will send ideas to prep and play before and after the workshop.
If you love color and are eager to get messy, this workshop is for you.
